Crey Farm Livery Facilities
Crey Farm Livery offers full-time summer turnout and daily winter turnout in our dedicated turnout pens or winter field. We have recently begun preparations for a 20x40 riding arena, lunge pen, and winter track, catering to horses that thrive on full-time winter turnout rather than being stabled.
Committed to Horse Welfare at Crey Farm
At Crey Farm, our primary focus is on the welfare of horses. We believe in allowing them to live as closely as possible to their natural state. We strive to offer ample winter turnout, whether in the fields or our winter turnout pens, to promote natural horse behaviours.
By 2030, our goal is to provide horses with the freedom to choose between living on the track or sharing a communal barn. We plan to distribute hay throughout the track to encourage movement, while enriching their environment with herb gardens and delicious hedging for snacking.
Our facilities currently include a solarium and shower, a horse weigh bridge, a worming programme with worm egg counts, a 20x30 winter turnout pen, automatic water drinkers, an on-site equestrian laundry, a shared tack room with chesterfield sofas and kitchen facilities, individual tack and feed storage, and 12x12 indoor stables.
Planned additions include a 20x40 riding arena, a round lunge pen, a toilet and changing room, a winter turnout track on a hard surface, and an upgrade of all fencing.
What's Included
Livery Packages
DIY Livery
Includes stable and grazing, morning net and feed given. A compulsory yearly worming program and a 20% discount on laundry services. Use of the solarium, shower, and weigh bridge is available for an additional charge.
DIY Livery Plus
Includes all features of DIY Livery, with solarium, shower, and weigh bridge use included as standard.
Assisted Livery
Includes everything in the DIY Livery Plus package, along with turnout into winter turnout pens or a daily field check, morning or evening, available 6 days a week.
Part / Full Livery
We prefer to tailor packages to each customer's individual needs. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we will put together something that works for you and your horse.
